Content Guidelines
PortoFilms is an editorial and production-facing space. These guidelines set expectations for submissions, enquiries, and use of the site’s film and playback features.
Last updated:
Respectful participation
Keep messages, submissions, and other interactions professional, relevant, and respectful. Do not use the site to threaten, harass, impersonate, discriminate against, or target another person or group.
We may decline to engage with communications that are abusive, spam-like, or plainly unrelated to a legitimate production or site question.
What you may submit
Only send material that you are entitled to share. This includes having the necessary rights, permissions, and authority for a treatment, image, reel, personal information, or other material sent to PortoFilms.
Do not submit unlawful material, confidential third-party information without permission, personal data you do not need to provide, malware, or instructions designed to disrupt a system.
Rights and credit
Submitting an enquiry or creative material does not transfer ownership to PortoFilms and does not create an obligation to use, return, produce, or compensate for it. Rights, credits, scope, and permissions need an explicit written agreement.
Do not present a film, still, credit, or title as a PortoFilms work unless that relationship is accurate. Cinema selections and external titles are editorial references, not a claim of authorship or representation.
Playback and film pages
Use playback and availability features only as presented. Do not attempt unauthorised downloads, capture, redistribution, access-control evasion, or efforts to obtain content outside its intended region or availability.
The native player is limited to the United Kingdom when a licensed source is provided; viewers in an unknown region are blocked. This does not promise that every listed title can be played or that any particular protection technology is used.
External sources
TMDB, Unsplash, JustWatch, IMDb, cinema pages, and other third-party destinations have their own standards and terms. Follow those rules when you leave PortoFilms, and do not assume PortoFilms controls an external listing or service.
A link or data attribution is not a commercial partnership, endorsement, or statement that a third party provides services on our behalf.
Moderation and reporting
We may review, decline, remove, or restrict material or access where it appears to breach these guidelines, applicable law, rights of others, or the technical integrity of the site. We do not promise to monitor every interaction or external destination.
To flag a concern, rights issue, or inaccurate attribution, contact PortoFilms at /#contact with the relevant page URL and a concise explanation. For copyright complaints, see the Copyright & DMCA page for the information needed.
