Cookie Policy
This policy explains the limited preference storage used by PortoFilms and how optional analytics choices are handled.
Last updated:
Your cookie choice
PortoFilms stores your cookie preference in localStorage under the key portofilms-cookie-choice. This is an essential preference record: it lets the site remember the choice you made instead of repeatedly asking for it.
LocalStorage is held in your browser on the device and browser profile you use. Clearing site data or using another browser may reset the choice.
Essential functionality
The preference record supports the cookie-choice interface and is not used to create an advertising profile. Technical requests and server logs may still be necessary for the site to function securely; see the Privacy Policy for the related handling.
You can manage browser storage through your browser controls, though removing this preference will mean the site does not retain your prior selection.
Optional analytics
The PortoFilms application does not activate optional analytics from its own code unless you opt in. If you do not opt in, the application does not intentionally turn on optional analytics for your visit.
The hosting or platform configuration may enable analytics independently of the application. We therefore do not claim that no analytics or measurement can occur at platform level; review the notices and controls supplied by the relevant platform where available.
Third-party features
External images, film data, availability links, and destinations such as TMDB, Unsplash, JustWatch, IMDb, cinemas, or streaming platforms may set or read their own cookies or similar technologies when you visit them. Their practices are not controlled by this page.
Choosing not to accept optional analytics on PortoFilms does not set preferences for those independent services.
Managing your settings
Use the site’s cookie controls when available, or clear the portofilms-cookie-choice localStorage entry in your browser settings if you want to make the choice again. Browser-level blocking can affect features beyond this site.
